10 Healthy (fuss free) snacks that will keep you full

As a fat loss coach, one of the most common questions I get asked is….

“What can I eat for snacks?”10 healthy fuss free snacks

Here are  10  quick , easy and healthy snacks

  • to tide you over until your next meal
  • provide you with lots of nutrients
  • low in calories
  • wont spike (then crash) your blood sugar.
  • that don’t contain 17+ ingredients
  • that don’t need too much cooking or  preparation

1. Boiled egg.

The perfect food as far as I am concerned. You can boil 3 or 4 at a time and keep them in the fridge. Mark the boiled eggs with an X, so you don’t confuse the raw ones

2. Tin of Tuna

Keep some plastic cutlery in your car or office drawer for this filling, anytime snack

3. Yoghurt and berries (fancy glass optional)

Make sure you check the label and choose a yoghurt that is low in sugar.

4. Cut up vegetable sticks with low fat ricotta dip, seasoned with taco powder

5. 2 Cruskits with ham or boiled egg and salad

6. Premade vegetable frittata

Grate up any vegetable you like, add 1 egg per serve, mix together in a baking tray, top with a small amount of diced ham and low fat grated cheese, bake until golden. It can be eaten hot or cold.

7. Packet or tinned soups

Choose one that is not too high in carbohydrates and also contains some protein and fibre,

8. Apple and cheese

An apple on its own does not fill me up, but by adding some protein and fat in the form of my favourite cheese I stay full for longer.

9.Protein bar  – – I like Aussie bodies

10. Milk based coffee with Natvia sweetener or hot chocolate with Natvia drinking chocolate

Yes, if there is a lot of milk in your coffee, you can class it as a snack.

Hot drinks fill me more than cold drinks. It might be all in my mind, but that doesn’t really matter, it works for me.
