Start with the end in mind

Lets say you are 85kgs and not feeling super fit, healthy or energetic.
You would love to weigh 72kgs, and have more than enough energy to bounce through the day.
 
I want you to visualise YOU as a 72kg fit, energetic person.
What would do each day and each week?
How would you look, act and behave?
If you were already that person… 
  • Would you choose a big yummy salad for lunch instead of a burger (and actually enjoy it more)?
  • Would you opt for 1 wine instead of 4?
  • Would you find and schedule in exercise that you enjoy a couple of times per week? 
  • Would you look for and find opportunities to get off your butt (move more)?
  • Would you connect with friends or journal your thoughts, to share your emotions instead of eating them?
  • Would you say no to the second helping of dinner and actually feel better about it than if you had said yes?
  • Would you eat half a dessert when out at a restaurant because “that was enough”?

You don’t need the next fancy diet or extreme exercise regime.

You don’t need ALL or NOTHING.
Deep down you know what to do.
Honestly you do. Please trust yourself a little more.

Figure out what the best version of YOU would look like, act like and do each week.

Then work backwards from there.
Next time you find yourself in a situation where you are deciding between the hamburger or the salad (for example), you can ask yourself … “What would the future fitter version of me do?”
