10 Fitness and Fat loss myths – BUSTED

If so, I honestly believe that the LAST thing you need is another diet. What you need is to finally learn how your body works. How it responds to certain foods and exercises. Only then you will be in control of your own fitness and fat loss journey.

A few small tweaks to your current plan might be all you need.

MYTH  – Ab crunches, sit ups and ab gadgets in particular will make your tummy smaller.

MYTH – I can reduce fat in one area of my body, by exercising that body part.

MYTH – Light weights with lots of repetitions will “tone” your muscles
.

MYTH – You need to exercise at a medium to low intensity to stay in the “fat burning zone”
.

MYTH – Eating 5 – 6 small meals throughout the day will increase your metabolism.

MYTH – If you eat only low fat foods you will lose weight
.

MYTH  – If I am exercising regularly, I can eat whatever I like and not put on weight.

MYTH – Do not eat carbohydrates in the night if you want to lose weight.
FACT – The total amount of calories IN and OUT each day… and even WEEK is what counts, not the timing.
