7 easy tips to increase your Will Power

WILL POWER

It’s a limited resource that runs out quickly as you “spend” it during your day.

—————-

A little imagination exercise for you.

Imagine you get 100 Willpower dollars ($WP) to spend each day. You need to use those dollars wisely, in order to have any left come night time. All of the little daily decisions and stresses “cost” you a couple of will power $ ($WP) each time.

Example

  • Deciding what to eat for breakfast (instead of having it pre-planned) = $2WP
  • Arguing with the kids = $5WP
  • Having a bikkie at the office, then beating yourself up for it = $3WP
  • A complicated task at work = $7WP
  • and so on and so on

** This is also known as “Decision Fatigue”

  4. Stop worrying what others think of you
  5. Learn to say NO more often in order to look after yourself
