Lesson 1 – Visualisation

I really want you to focus on your goal. You should write it down or type it up and print out and display it as many places as you can think of.

Places that you see all the time, such as bathroom mirror, car, wallet, wardrobe, above your bathroom scales (that’s where mine is), anywhere that will jog your memory and get you to focus on the overall goal.

Put it in your mobile phone, as an alarm to remind you a couple of times a day, same goes for your computer.

You also need to believe in the goal. If you are telling yourself you are going to lose X kilos in X weeks, but the little voice inside your head is saying ” yeah, sure you are you big fat loser” then what chance have you got?

My favorite quote is…

“Whether you believe you can or believe you can’t, YOU ARE RIGHT.”

Try some visualization, imagine yourself at your goal weight, in your goal outfit and feel how good it feels, feel how proud you are, hear the compliments from others. The more real a goal feels and the more emotion you can give to it, the more chance you have of achieving it.

Please don’t skip this step because you think its airy fairy, ask any Olympic athlete if they visualize themselves winning gold, you can bet they do because it actually works.

It only takes a few minutes a day, and I want you to do it EVERY DAY for the next few weeks (at least).
