Yes you CAN lose weight and eat pavlova (or sugar, or carbs)

Uuuuuuuggggghhhh !!!

Us humans love to make things complicated don’t we?

Ironically even when we are looking for the simple quick fix, we can still make things way harder than they need to be.

What if I told you that you don’t need to give up sugar or carbs or fun in order to get healthy and lose weight.

Donna Hay knows how to lose weight and she still eats sugar.

Donna knows that weight loss happens when you…

  • a) burn more calories than you consume each week
  • b) get enough protein so that the lost weight comes from excess body fat and not lean muscle mass

That’s it !!

Stop trying to make things harder for yourself

  1. Work out (roughly) how many calories you burn each day HERE  (know that its an estimate only)
  2. Eat less than that, by shaving 500 calories off from the easiest possible options
  3. Make sure you are getting a handful of protein rich foods 3 x per day
  4. Make sure you are eating vegetables for health and wellbeing
  5. Move your body regularly in whatever way you enjoy
  6. Bonus  – for health and shape (but not a necessity for weight loss) – Huff and puff outside your comfort level 3 – 5 short effective sessions per week and use your muscles too

You could follow these 3 ridiculously simple steps for health and weight management

KISS (Keep It Simple Sexy)

This doesn’t mean you have to count every calorie in vs calorie out (we are only ever estimating anyway). However a little awareness can go a loooooong way.

**Here are some action steps that will help (that have almost nothing to do with diet or exercise)

A word of caution

This information is NOT a licence to eat truckloads of low nutrient / high calorie foods. Include and enjoy them in small amounts with no guilt needed.
