My fitness and fat loss philosophy… in a nut shell

Hey there, I’m Chriss.

I have been in the fitness industry for more than 20 years.

Most of that time has been spent teaching and helping people how to lose weight.

The more I know about health, fitness and weight,  the more boring my message becomes.

There was a time way back, when I might have jumped on the bandwagon to quit sugar or eliminate an entire food group or put all of the blame on one thing or another.

Now with 20+ years experience my message is so boring and unsexy.

  • Eat more veg and some fruit
  • Eat when “fairly hungry”, stop when “satisfied” (not stuffed)
  • Move lots in whatever way you enjoy and fits your life
  • Get adequate protein from whatever sources you enjoy ( but no need to go over board )
  • Do exercise that gets you huffing and puffing and use your muscles a couple of times per week ( no need to go overboard )
  • Include treats but not too often. Eat them mindfully and enjoy every mouthful. (treats also include most drinks other than water)

Do all of the above because you love and respect your body, not because you hate it.
