The ultimate treadmill YouTube playlist

I just did the best treadmill workout…

**However, you could use this technique for any piece of cardio equipment that has access to the internet.

Today seemed like an indoor workout kind of day.

I normally meet a friend to do an outdoor workout on a Monday, but not today.

I decided to just do a quick basic workout on the treadmill at my local gym. Nothing fancy. 6kms only.

  • 1 minute walking (6.5kms per hour. * Please choose your best walking speed)
  • 1 minute of running (13.8kms per hour. * Choose your best running speed)
  • repeat until 6kms are completed. Simple.

Or, feel free to choose any workout that gets you huffing and puffing. ** Oh,  please don’t hang on unless you are injured or an absolute beginner.

Here’s what I did to make my treadmill workout AWESOME.

You see, I was feeling flat before the workout. Not sad or depressed or anything, but not excited or enthusiastic either. I could have easily skipped the workout or put in a half hearted effort.

The treadmills at my gym have internet access. I have never used this feature before, but for some weird reason today I had the bright idea to look up “Flash Mob YouTube videos”. I honestly don’t even know how that thought popped into my head, but I went with it anyway.

Fast forward 35 minutes or so and my workout was complete with the help of the flash mob videos… and I felt ON TOP OF THE WORLD!!

Warning – – You may look like a grinning fool if you attempt this..

I was smiling from ear to ear. I was laughing and bopping away. I am pretty sure that the other gym goers thought I was mad. 😉 Quite honestly I could have stayed on there all day.

Here is what I watched for my best treadmill workout…

*** This post is for purely selfish reasons. I wanted a place to bookmark my favourite clips so that I can find them easily. I hope you like them too.

I do plan to add to this list some time in the future.

Happy Working Out.
