11 Benefits of walking
1) You can do it anytime, anywhere
2) You don’t need any fancy equipment
3) Little to no chance of injury
4) Stress relieving. Great way to clear your mind and improve your mood
5) You can use it as a mode of transport (What a concept. LOL)
6) When your walking you are (usually) not eating.
This might sound like a weird one, but I have been shovelling so much food into my gob lately, that an hour out of the house means an hour of no snacking.
7) Walking is kind of like a moving meditation (for me anyway). It grounds and centres me
8) Walking uses your muscles and gets the heart and blood pumping
9) You can easily adjust it to make it harder by adding hills and speed, or easier by taking your time
10) No skill set required, just put one foot in front of the other. Its what our bodies were made to do
11) Its social. You can walk with family, friends or my favourite, your dog.
