Most dieters seem to fall into 2 separate and distinct teams
——-
Team 1 – Quantity is everything
These are the calorie counters, WW, meal replacements, etc. They choose low calorie meals and snacks even if they are highly processed, don’t contain (m)any nutrients and wont keep them full. These people lose weight in the short term (with a lot of will power to over come the hunger), but may sacrifice their health and metabolism and lose some lean muscle mass in the long term due to lack of protein and other nutrients.
Team 2 – Quality is everything
These are the clean eaters, paleo, natural, organic, unprocessed, raw. These choose foods high in nutrients and low in processing and chemicals (which is great)… BUT if they completely disregard portion size and overall calorie content, they may still end up putting on weight (or not losing it).

Both are important
Instead of arguing which team is better, (as is happening all over my Facebook newsfeed this morning), why cant we just admit that both factors are important.
Quality and Quantity.
