I want you to grab a piece of paper and a pen, now fold the paper in half.
On one half, I want you to quickly write down, (without thinking, just the first things that pops into your head)
The 5 parts of your body that you love the most.
Now, on the other half of the paper, quickly write down the 5 parts of your body that you would like to change.
Without even looking at your list, I bet it was easier for you to make the 2nd list than the 1st.
It’s a sad fact that most of us focus on the negative aspects of ourselves way more than the things we love about ourselves. And as we have already talked about –What you focus on, you get more of.
Now I want you to tear up the negative half of your paper. Put the positive half somewhere you will see it often. Pin it up in your bathroom or put it in your wallet, or maybe type it on your screen saver.
This is what you need to focus on, for the next few weeks at least and then for as long as you think you need the reminder.
Oh, and you don’t have to stop at 5, why not go for 10 things or 20 things you love about yourself.

if you really struggle with this, ask a loved one to come up with your list. I can guarantee it will make you feel fabulous. Write one for them too.
