Results of Make Over Month program (including my own)

Hey there wonderful people.

Can I ask you to please do a little memory test for me? I want you to cast your mind backwards in time 4 weeks.

Its such a short period of time, I’m sure most people would answer that they don’t feel or look much different at all.

However, for myself and the other group of women who took part in the 4 week long Make Over Month, we look and feel SO DIFFERENT to just 4 weeks ago. Its pretty amazing what can be achieved in that small window of time.

If you remember back to late July, I confessed that I needed to kick my own butt and get back into shape. I had put on a few extra wobbly bits (pictured) that I didn’t particularly like (understatement), thanks to some extra comfort foods over Winter and my holiday to Bali.  I felt lethargic, tired and blah (technical term). I was also quite embarrassed that I had let this happen, but hey, I am human.

I asked if anyone would like to join me in a MAKE OVER MONTH and a wonderful bunch of women, put up their hand and chose to join in the challenge.

Each participant was emailed weekly challenges and instructions.  They also received comprehensive video lessons on how fat loss works (not the usual move more, eat less type stuff, We went in depth). We all got busy doing our starting measurements, scale weight and before photos. We got to know each other in the private FB group. I believe THIS was the magic ingredient of the success. We did this as a team.

Goals were set. Plans were made.

We kept in VERY regular contact with each other via the private page. We exercised 3 x week, we changed some of our meals, we included vegetables to most of them, we moved lots, we drank water, we laughed, we cried (sometimes), we picked ourselves up after struggles and got on with things.

Soooooo, how did we all go?

Well the month is up and I am happy to report great results all round. (pics below)

The final day of any challenge is always my favourite day. Its the time when everyone reports in their results and achievements. Those who are game include photos. The final day of this challenge was overwhelming to say the least.

Messages of thanks, of celebration, of encouragement to others.

I have to admit, I had a little tear in my eye.

Here are just some of the results from the brave ladies who allowed me to share their photos.

**Remember, these results were achieved in JUST 4 WEEKS !!

Some of the women are at the end of their weight loss journey, some are at the beginning. All of them stated over and over again, that this was NOT a quick fix diet, this is now the way they will live for the rest of their lives. They also told me how amazed they were that most of what they thought about fitness and fat loss in the past was WRONG. Some were even angry that they had been putting in so much effort in the wrong direction up until now.
